A Blog Break

As I hurried to finish clearing the table, I thought to myself I must take a blog break.

I like these little blog breaks.  However, I must warn you that this break will be more of a rambling than anything important, funny, or serious.

I hesitate to even post.  It seems as though I have posted nothing at all today except the incoherent thougths of a slightly derainged woman.

Instead of completing my "Not a Lot to Do's", we traveled to Texarkana to spend the late morning through afternoon. 

Our little adventure started with a very crowded trip to Chuck E. Cheese.  Yes, we are aware that Saturday is the worst day to visit this "fun" place, but for some reason the father of my children mentioned this place to my children, and of course there was no turning back.  (Gotta love those fun loving daddies. ;) )

We browsed the mall making the usual stops of Children's Place, Bealls, Sears, and Romancing the Stone. (The hermit crabs always ensusre a smile no matter how many meltdowns have previously occurred.)

The return trip home is always a little easier when I make my usual run to Target and the kiddos receive treats from the Sonic's Happy Hour (of course my Diet Coke helps to aleve any mommy frustrations).

After playing outside in the warm evening sun, while I started the first load of dishes and the 3rd load of laundry, the kiddos and Chris have settled into a new Hulk cartoon while I take my blog break.

It has been an uneventful day, but none the less a good day.  :)
