Better Late Than Never

Sorry it's been so long since an update! Time just seems to fly by. I'm sure from the pics you can tell they are of Halloween. In the first pic, Toni, Bayleigh, and a little friend from the dayschool were the three blind mice. They were too cute! Thank you Kendra for the great idea and all the help with the costumes! Cody of course was Superman.....he even had the flying noises down. Kandi is right when she says, "Boys are born knowing how to make superhero, truck, and car noises!" Now, Toni and Bayleigh were the Three Blind Mice for the Nursery Rhyme Parade at school, but had totally different costumes for trick or treating. Toni was Arial while Bayleigh chose some type of Barbie Fairy. Randi of course dressed as one of her favorite Bratz characters. (Fits her quite well!) The last two pics I just had to post. Chris and Cody were just too cute, and of course here is Randi our future "cheer girl." (Performance at last home football game - mini cheer camp.) Go ahead Tanya.........laugh it up! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Bikes and Homecoming

Hello Everyone! Sorry it has been so long since a post, but time just seems to fly by around here. I thought since it had been awhile since I posted I would at least give you a few new pics. Toni and Bayleigh had an exciting week...............Thrusday was Trike-A-Thon. Now, if you don't know what that is......you truly are missing out! The children of the preschool collect pledges for St. Jude's and then ride their "trikes" or "bikes". It's always a blast to see around 45 four year olds zooming a parking lot on bikes. The girls started participating in the Trike-A-Thon around age 2 and look forward to it every year. I think that's what Randi misses the most about the dayschool.

I'm sure you can tell what is going on in the first few pics. That's right.......it's home-coming! And even though they are only 4 and 7, the girls still seem to know what homecoming is all about.........the pretty "ribbons" (quotes from Toni and Bayleigh) and the "pretty girls and crowns" (quotes from Randi). Even though I never was a "girly-girl" and Chris isn't one for a lot of attention, I have the sinking feeling that we will have at least one daughter (if not all three) grace us with being on the homecoming court. The first picture is of all three girls (Bayleigh, Randi, Toni) followed by individual shots of each (in the same order). And no, there is no homecoming picture of Cody. He was patiently waiting, like all gentlemen, in the car for the girls and his picture happy mommy.
In other news...........Cody went for his 18 month check-up on Sept. 11 (yes, I said 18 even though at the time he was 20). He weighed in at 29 lbs and 34 inches. Now, this is only in the 80th percentile for a boy his age........but for us, he is a giant. Toni and Bayleigh only weigh in at around 32 pounds and Randi is a mere 45. Go Big Man!!!! :)

And of course, Randi's week was full of fun "spirit week" activites for homecoming. Thrusday was also her big day.........it was pajama day! Followed by spirit Friday. (Wear all the orange and black you can to show your spirit.) We even got up early to streak her hair orange. Yes, I know, it has already begun. If you're reading this Tanya.......go ahead and laugh! :) I know you want to!

Until next time!

A Big Day for Cody

Just a quick update to let everyone know about Cody's big day. This is his third week at the day school, and for the first time he didn't cry when I dropped him off! His crying spells never last very long, but he does cry. Not today! He was happy to see his teachers and his friends! Go Big Man!

Toni and Bayleigh are also adjusting well to staying all day. They are growing up so fast! It seems like they should still be in the toddler room. It's hard to believe this is their last year at the dayschool.
Randi loves the second grade! Thank you Mrs. Calloway! Tomorrow is her first spelling and sentence dictation test, and she's actually looking forward to it. I think that's a first.
I hope everyone has a great weekend, and I'll try to update again in a few days!

Hello Everyone.........

After much encouragement from Kandi I decided to give this blog thing a try...........don't know how well it's going to work. I'm not the most computer savy person on the planet. Anyway, check back later for more updates.
